YouTubeSearch is operated by Dylan Ah Teck. Using the API, CLI, MCP server, or this site means you accept these terms.
The service
The service is in beta and provided as-is, without warranties or an uptime guarantee. We publish what works and what doesn't; typed errors tell you when something can't be done. Free tier limits — credits, rates, and what keyless access covers — may change, with notice.
Fair use
Don't abuse the API. Rate limits are enforced automatically per tier, and keys used to circumvent limits or disrupt the service may be suspended. Failed calls are never billed.
YouTube content
YouTube content belongs to its creators. We don't claim any rights over it — we retrieve and return data on your behalf, and you are responsible for how you use it.
